Italy, Venice in particular along with a smattering of Rome.  I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Venice and it’s truly an amazing place.  If you can ignore the tourists it presents you with a singularly unique experience.  The presence of the place is amazing, no cars, no busses, nothing but the city, the people, and the water, everywhere the water…
